Introduction

International Supply Partners (ISP) is committed to driving sustainable economic impact through responsible sourcing, ethical business practices, and community empowerment. As part of our commitment, we align our operations and growth strategy with key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and industry-recognized Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

How ISP Contributes:

 

    • Supporting job creation through our global supplier network.
    • Promoting inclusive workforce development, especially in underserved communities.
    • Offering youth entrepreneurship and workforce readiness programs, including:
      • Partnerships with the Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs (RICE) for hands-on learning and internships.
      • Sponsoring and hosting the RICExAmazon Supply Chain Immersion Week, where we provided HBCU students with a virtual tour of our manufacturer in Kenya and an in-person tour of our Atlanta warehouse.
      • Youth engagement through the Fulton County District Attorney’s Reach Mentoring Program.
      • Speaking at the Spelman College Jills Take Spelman Leadership Institute, preparing high school girls for leadership and entrepreneurship.
      • Coaching and mentoring small business leaders through the Morehouse MIEC Small Business Executive Certificate Program.

 

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure

How ISP Contributes:

 

    • Providing businesses with access to global manufacturing and supply chain solutions.
    • Supporting innovation in product development, sustainability, and procurement, such as the development of PPE Recycling Kits in partnership with Amazon.
    • Collaborating with industry partners to scale small and diverse businesses, including our joint efforts with the Global Opportunities Committee (GOC) to connect small businesses with international trade opportunities.

 

SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

How ISP Contributes:

 

    • Championing supplier diversity by promoting minority, women, and underrepresented business inclusion in global supply chains.
    • Supporting economic empowerment initiatives that level the playing field for small and disadvantaged businesses through programs like ISP’s Supplier Readiness Launchpad.
    • Partnering with organizations to reduce barriers to market entry for historically excluded groups, including:
      • Youth outreach and entrepreneurship programs targeting Black and underrepresented students.
      • Development and supply of BLV (Blind and Low Vision) Disability Kits to promote accessibility and inclusion in workplace safety programs.

SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production

How ISP Contributes:

    • Offering sustainable product alternatives, such as PPE recycling kits and eco-conscious materials.

    • Promoting responsible sourcing and supplier accountability through our Sustainable Procurement Policy.

    • Partnering with suppliers to reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and implement circular economy practices, as demonstrated in our PPE-R3 (Reuse, Recycle, Reduce) program with Amazon.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

    • Building strategic partnerships with corporations, governments, financial institutions, and community organizations.

    • Facilitating collaborations that strengthen supplier diversity, economic inclusion, and sustainable business practices, including:

      • Engagement with RICE, GOC, and Fortune 500 clients like Amazon.

      • Community partnerships such as the Reach Mentoring Program and Morehouse MIEC Executive Coaching.

Environmental (E)

  • Implementing sustainable product lines and eco-friendly packaging.

  • Encouraging responsible manufacturing and waste reduction across our supply chain.

  • Partnering with vendors to support environmental certifications and sustainability standards.

Social (S)

  • Advancing minority and women-owned business inclusion.

  • Providing workforce development and entrepreneurship programs for youth and small businesses.

  • Supporting disability inclusion through products like BLV Disability Kits.

  • Ensuring ethical labor practices throughout our operations and supply chain.

Governance (G)

  • Maintaining ethical business practices, transparency, and accountability.
  • Upholding compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring and reporting on supplier compliance through audits and assessments.
